Anorak Hour Nr 302 b/c 7th April 2002

This week's show takes a close look at two new stations about to launch in Dublin, and the personalities involved. First up, Marty Miller (formerly Today FM, now Spin FM). Then Nikki Hayes finishing with East Coast to join Spin FM. She was also with Passion FM from Bray, whose closedown is also featured. Finally in this section, there's a look at Chris Barry's first show for 98FM.

Anorak Hour Nr 303 b/c 14th April 2002

This week's edition comes on the 90th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, and the first section of the programme explores the role radio played; NewsTalk launched to Dublin last Tuesday, clips from the station follow; KPOI FM from Hawaii is sampled next; then a look at K.I.C. FM, the now defunct C&W Dublin "super-pirate"; How the Americans 'sold' Sunshine Radio; finally in archives, a clip of Brian Graham on Phantom.

Anorak Hour Nr 304 b/c 21st April 2002

Anorak Hour 304 was broadcast in the week yet another new station launched legally to Dublin, so some samples from the first few days output of Spin 1038 were broadcast; then a sample of 90s dance station Pulse FM was aired, followed by one of the strangest stations ever to hit Dublin: Travel FM; Simon Young's last appearance on 2FM was featured, and The Two Tony's from Radio Dublin also had an airing.

Anorak Hour Nr 305 b/c 28th April 2002

Anorak Hour 305 featured the full package of old WLR jingles which by themselves have been determined to get an airing; a look at a 60s offshore pirate followed, in the form of Radio Scotland; Southside Radio's FRC programme from 1981 was sampled next; two station records from the 70s were then played - promotions for Radio Dublin and Big D Radio; Radio Nova's second day on air with Hugh O'Brien is up next; then a clip from Rick Dees Weekly Top 40; and finally Kieran Murray on Liberty 104.
